Bulk Agent Deployment

AYA Services Deployer discovers domain computers through Active Directory and remotely installs the selected agent package on multiple targets.

Prerequisites

• The deployment account must be a local administrator on target computers.
• The C$ administrative share must be reachable.
• Firewall and network policies must allow remote service execution.
• Target computers must be powered on and reachable over the network.

Deployment steps

1. Run the Deployer application as administrator.
2. Select the ayaRemote agent .exe installer.
3. Enter an authorized domain account under Domain Credentials.
4. Use Fill Search Base if you want the application to detect the default AD search base.
5. Load domain computers and select the targets.
6. Choose Deploy Selected.
7. Review the result for each computer in the progress window.

When required, the Deployer downloads Microsoft Sysinternals PsExec into its local tools folder. It copies the installer to C:\ProgramData\AYA\ayaServices on the target and runs it with PsExec.

Concurrent deployments

Concurrent deployments controls how many installations run at once. Start with a conservative value in large environments, then increase it while monitoring network and domain-controller load.
