Agent Installation
Install the ayaRemote Windows agent on one computer and verify it.
The ayaRemote agent is a Windows service that securely sends device inventory and health information to the management panel.
Requirements
- A supported Windows computer
- Local administrator privileges for installation
- Network access to the ayaRemote API address
- ayaDesk installed when remote access will be used
Installation
- Open Download agent in the management panel.
- Download the installer prepared for your organization.
- Run the file on the target computer as administrator.
- Open Windows Services and verify that
ayaServicesis running. - Refresh the Computers page in the management panel.
Do not share the installer
Do not upload an organization-specific agent package to a public location. It may contain installation data used to register devices with the correct company.
Signs of a successful installation
- The computer appears in the panel under its Windows computer name.
- Agent status changes to Online shortly after installation.
- Processor, memory, disk, and network information appears in device details.
- ayaDesk status is ready when remote access is configured.
